If an assault has just taken place and you are not in a safe place, feel at risk, or have any other injuries that require urgent attention, call the emergency services on 999.
If you have chosen to report with contact details the report will remain confidential and the information contained in it will only be passed on to relevant and specifically trained staff members on a strictly need to know basis. We will not disclose any personal or identifiable information to others unless we believe there is a genuine threat to a person’s health and safety. By submitting this form, you agree to the use of your personal information as detailed in the Privacy Notice.
By submitting a report, you consent to the University of Worcester processing the personal data (including sensitive personal data) you enter into this report in accordance with this privacy notice and the University’s Data Protection Policy. This data is held by the University of Worcester. It will only be shared on a need-to-know basis in order to provide you with the support.
Your data will not be disclosed to a third party without your consent unless there are legitimate reasons requiring us to do so (for example potential risks to a person’s health and safety). However, if you disclose the name of the perpetrator or any distinguishable features that would enable their identification, we may be obliged under data protection regulations to notify the individual of the allegation, although we would always inform you before any such disclosure. To avoid this scenario, please do not disclose the name or any identifiable features of the perpetrator.
Data will be anonymised if it is to be used for monitoring and reporting. We will ensure that you cannot be identified.
